There were initial concerns that the LA Galaxy forward could miss out altogether on the European Championship after suffering a hamstring strain. Keane's presence at Malahide for training was confirmed by the FAI who issued a statement about his recent injury.
“Robbie Keane’s scan result came through today and showed all clear with no sign of any tear or blood. He will be assessed when he comes in and should be fine," said the FAI statement.
Keane will be monitored by Ireland's team of physios during training today and is likely to play some part in next week's friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Dublin. The Boys in Green will depart for their Italian training camp next Sunday before taking on Hungary in their final warm up match on June 4.

"Great game! Borussia clearly is clearly dominating the match and, of course, the stands. But it's a shame that the score is still 0-0. But it's good to see our team standing up to Bayern again, especially in midfield. The tension is immense, though!"
"I would say it was an even battle between both sets of supporters outside Wembley but Dortmund are definitely edging it in the pub I'm in. The streets of central London are quieter than usual and every bar I walked past is spilling out onto the road. London is at a standstill.
