Germany coach Joachim Low has reinstated playmaker Mesut Ozil to his starting line-up for Friday's Euro 2012 home qualifer against neighbours, Austria.

Mario Gotze makes way for the Real Madrid man, while veteran striker Miroslav Klose replaces the injured Mario Gomez in the centre of attack.

Toni Kroos keeps his place in the centre of the park to partner Bastian Schweinsteiger, as Sami Khedira remains sidelined through injury.

Benedikt Howedes is selected at right-back with Christian Trasch dropping to the bench, while Mats Hummels and Holger Badstuber continue their partnership at the heart of the German defence.

Victory for Germany on Friday evening will secure qualification for Euro 2012 with two games to spare.
