Klose will miss Euro qualifiers as scans reveal rib injury is enough to keep him out of action for Low's men as they sit top of Group AGermany striker Miroslav Klose has pulled out of the Euro 2012 qualifiers against Austria and Azerbaijan after suffering a rib injury against Uruguay.
The 32-year-old Bayern Munich man has been told to rest after having a scan on the injury following Sunday's 2-1 victory in Sinsheim, according to DPA.
He will miss Friday's qualifier against Austria in Vienna, and subsequent match against Azerbaijan next Tuesday.
Coach Joachim Low described the loss as "regrettable". Low is now expected to call up a replacement for Klose following his withdrawal.
Germany currently lead Group A with 15 points from five games.
