TEAM NEWS: Xavi Starts For Spain Against Czech Republic To Earn His 100th International Cap

Xavi will take to the pitch from the first minute for Spain against the Czechs...

Barcelona midfielder Xavi will earn his 100th international cap for Spain as he has been named in the starting line-up against the Czech Republic in their Group I Euro 2012 qualifier tonight.

Xavi will be partnered in midfield by Sergio Busquets and Xabi Alonso, while coach Vicente del Bosque has left out striker Fernando Torres out of his starting xi and will deploy David Villa as the centre-forward with Andres Iniesta and Jesus Navas on the flanks.

For the Czechs, Milan Baros will be the targetman in what is expected to be a 4-2-3-1 system that has Tomas Rosicky in the midfield.

The team line-ups are as follows:

Spain Starting XI: Casillas; Arbeloa, Pique, Ramos, Capdevila; Alonso, Busquets, Xavi; Navas, Villa, Iniesta

Subs: Pepe Reina, Marchena, Iraola, Torres, Llorente, Cazorla, Silva.

Czech Republic Starting XI: Cech, Pospech, Hubnik, Sivok, M. Kadlec; Hubschman, Rosicky; Plasil, Rezek, Pudil; Baros

Subs: Lastuvka, Kusnir, Rajnoch, Necid, Polak, Hlousek, Moravek.
