Croatia midfielder Luka Modric was a bit frustrated after his side's scoreless draw against Greece.
By Stefan Coerts
Croatia put in an encouraging performance against Greece on Tuesday evening, but they failed to find the net and had to settle for a scoreless draw in the end. Playmaker Luka Modric, who returned to the team after injury, was pretty frustrated with the draw, but pointed out that nothing's lost yet.
"We are not satisfied with one point. We wanted to win, but we failed. There are a lot of games to come, so nothing is lost yet. The Greeks played very well tactically. We will fight for first place though," Modric was quoted as saying by uefa.com.
Croatia skipper Darijo Srna was pretty disappointed with the draw as well, but expressed his hope that the fans would continue to support the team in the remainder of the qualifying campaign.
"I hope the fans will not be too disappointed, and that they continue to follow the matches. We tried as much as possible, but unfortunately we could not score," commented the Shakhtar Donetsk star after the match.
Croatia currently sit atop the table in group F with four points from two games.
