Greece coach Fernando Santos was pleased after his side secured scoreless draw against Croatia in their second Group F Euro 2012 qualifer.

It is the second successive draw for the 2004 winners and leaves them two points adrift of early pace setters Croatia and Israel. The Portuguese trainer, who took over from long standing coach Otto Rehhagel in July, insisted that the Greeks played to win in Zagreb but noted that it was a good result in a difficult qualifying group.

"We improved today and showed better concentration,'' Santos said afterwards at a press conference.

"As always we played to win, but today's result was good and gives us more confidence for what is a tough road ahead.''
