Sweden 6-0 San Marino: Ibrahimovic Scores Twice In Comfortable Group E Victory

Ibrahimovic led Sweden to an easy victory...
Sweden continued their good form in 2010 as they hammered European minnows San Marino 6-0 at the Nya Malmo Stadion in Malmo on Tuesday evening in Group E.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the scoring for the Swedes as early as the seventh minute and found the target again 13 minutes from time. There were also two first-half own goals from Aldo Simoncini while Andreas Granqvist and Marcus Berg each scored once in the second period.

This was Sweden's second successive win in Group E as they defeated Hungary on Friday.

In another Group E fixture, Hungary defeated Moldova 1-0 at the Ferenc Szusza Stadion in Budapest. Rudolf and Koman put the hosts 2-0 up midway through the second-half and although Suvorov pulled a goal back 11 minutes from time, it was to no avail.
