Georgia 0-0 Israel

Georgia and Israel drew 0-0 with each other at the Boris Paichadze National Stadium in Tbilisi. The hosts had held Greece to a 1-1 draw away from home on Friday while Israel had defeated Malta 3-1 on Thursday, but both sides had to be satisfied with a point on Tuesday evening. However, the Israelis will be happier of the two teams as this was an away match for them.

Malta 0-2 Latvia

Malta suffered their second successive defeat in the group as they went down 2-0 to Latvia at the Ta' Qali National Stadium in Ta' Qali. Kaspars Gorkss gave the Latvians the lead three minutes before half-time and with just five minutes of normal time remaining, Maris Verpakovskis secured all three points for the visitors.

Croatia 0-0 Greece

Once again Greece failed to win as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Croatia at the Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb. The Euro 2004 winners failed to win at home last week and are now in a tough situation with two points from as many games in the qualifiers.
