Luis Milla Warns Spain Under-20 Side That The Difficult Games Are Ahead
After destroying Tahiti, the Spanish coach has urged his side to maintain their focus for their forthcoming group matches...
After Spain Under-20s romped to victory against Tahiti U-20s in their opening fixture of the World Cup, coach Luis Milla praised his side's mental state as much as their technical performance.
"I'm happy because we had talked about our attitude and respecting our opponent," Milla told Marca.
"It's an important thing to play with humility and willingness."
However, the coach has warned his side that they will not win every game 8-0, and he knows there are some difficult opponents in the competition.
"To win the first game gives you confidence. Now comes the hard part," he continued.
"We know that Venezuela and Nigeria can play football. The former are physical, and the latter have players with a mix of speed and talent."
Spain's next fixture is against Nigeria on Monday.
