Albert Luque, Malaga (Marca)
1976: Thomas Gravesen: Danish midfielder Gravesen came to prominence during his five year spell in the English Premier League with Everton and made a surprise move to Real Madrid in January of 2005 but his aggressive style of play in his defensive midfield role didn't impress at the Bernabeu and although he feature strongly in the remainder of the 2004/05 title winning season, he only played 17 games in the Primera Liga the following year before moving to Celtic where he won another league title. At international level Gravesen won 66 caps for Denmark and retired from football after a brief loan spell back at Everton.

1978: Albert Luque:
After beginning as a youth at Barcelona Luque moved to Mallorca having failed to make it beyond the Catalan giant's B team. With the Balearic island outfit he gradually progressed to first team football but failed to make a telling impact and was loaned out to Malaga before making a move to Deportivo La Coruna in 2002. Big performances for the Galician side most notably in the Champions League saw the striker attract interest from England and he joined Newcastle United in 2005 but that venture proved unsuccessful and he eventually returned to the Primera Liga, joining Malaga in a permanent transfer from Ajax after a successful loan spell with the Andalucian side.
