Spanish Cumpleanos: Cosmin Contra

Cosmin Contra - Getafe
1975: Cosmin Contra: Veteran Romanian defender Contra currently plays for Getafe. He first moved to Spanish football in 1999, joining Alaves. After a spell with Milan he returned to Spain, this time with Atletico Madrid but stint with Los Colchoneros was dominated by loan spells away from the club, including Getafe, who he joined on a permanent deal in 2006. He won the last of his 72 international caps in April of this year.

1976: Roger Garcia Junyent:
After coming through the ranks at Barcelona Roger played for the Blaugrana for four seasons, winning two Primera Liga titles, two Copa del Rey's and a UEFA Cup Winners' Cup before moving to espanyol, and later Villarreal. After one season with Ajax, Roger retired from football due to injury problems in 2007.

1977: Mehmet Aurelio: Brazil-born Turkish international midfielder played the majority of his career in Brazil and Turkey before making the switch to Real Betis in 2008. He was part of the team that was relegated last season and currently plays in the Segunda Division looking to gain promotion back to the Primera. Aurelio has 26 caps for Turkey.
