1958: Javier Aguirre: Former Mexican midfielder Aguirre had a brief period at Osasuna, playing 13 Primera Liga games in 1987. He returned to Spanish football in 2002 as coach of the Pamplona outfit and after a four year spell there, switched to Atletico Madrid, where he was coach until February of this year, when he was sacked and replaced by Abel Resino. He is currently coach of the Mexican national team.

1974: Costinha:
Portuguese midfielder Costinha currently plays in Italy with Atalanta, whom he joined in 2007 after one season in the Primera Liga with Atletico Madrid. He was part of the Porto team that won the UEFA Cup & UEFA Champions League in consecutive seasons under Jose Mourinho. Costinha has been capped 53 times by Portugal.
