1934: Enrique Collar: Made his name playing in the Primera Liga with two spells at Atletico Madrid where he played 338 times. He was also part of the Spain squad that captured the 1964 European championships, although did not play in the finals.After his second spell at Atletico he moved to Valencia where he played for one season before retiring in 1970.
1972: Dario Silva: Uruguayan-born forward Dario Silva came to Spanish football in 1998, joining Espanyol before switching to Malaga after just one season. At the Rosaleda he managed 36 goals in 100 league games before joining Sevilla. After two seasons with Los Nervionenses, he moved to Portsmouth in England, where he played for one season before retiring. He won 49 caps for Uruguay scoring 14 times. After retiring, Silva was involved in a car crash which resulted in his leg being amputated.
1976: Daniel da Cruz Carvalho: Portuguese striker Dani, began his career at Spoting Lisbon and had a spell at West Ham United, Ajax and Benfica before joining Atletico Madrid in 2000, helping them to promotion from the Segunda Division in 2002 before retiring a year later.
