1970: Alain Boghossian: Although he spent most of his career in French and Italian football, France international midfielder Boghossian finished his playing days at Espanyol, although he only managed five games in the 2002/03 season. While he won the World Cup with France in 1998, Boghossian missed out on the Euro 2000 success due to injury.
1976: Ariel Ibagaza: Capped twice by Argentina, this attacking midfielder has played in Spanish football since 1998. After five years at Mallorca, he had a three year stint at Atletico Madrid, during which time he won both of his international caps, before returning to the Barralets in 2006. At the beginning of last season he joined Villarreal, where he still plays.
1978: Jhon Viafara: Colombian midfielder Viafara moved to Europe from Once Caldas in Colombia in 2005, joining Portsmouth before spending much of the season on loan at Real Sociedad. He later joined Southampton before returning to Once Calda. Viafara has played for Colombia on 32 occasions.
