1973: Carlos Alberto Pavon: This Honduran striker began his career with Real Espana in Honduras before playing for a host of teams in Europe and Latin America. He had a brief, nine game spell with Real Valladolid in the mid-nineties and after a short spell with LA Galaxy, now plays for Real Espana once again.
1982: Modeste M'Bami: Cameroon international midfielder M'Bami spent most of his career playing in France but made the switch to Almeria in the Primera Liga just last month. After trials with a host of clubs, mainly in the English Premier League, he joined the Spanish side after his contract with Marseille expired during the summer. He has played 28 times for his country and was part of the side that won Olympic gold in Sydney in 2000.
