U-21 Championship Player Ratings: Finland 0-2 Spain
Both Spain and Finland are going home after the group stage, but a few players enhanced their reputation in this game...
Lehtovaara 8.5 - The 21-year-old may see some offers made for him after this stunning display as he made several quality stops to keep the scoreline respectable.
Raitala 5.5 - Let Monreal in a couple of times and was saved by Spain's poor finishing and Lehtovaara.
Portin 5.5 - Finland's defence looked secure in the opening half but the fact that the keeper had so many saves to make after that tells a story.
Turunen 5.5 - A game of two halves for the central defender as he found it much more difficult to cope after the break.
Jalasto 6 - Held his position and did not let Spain progress many times down his flank and he was also able to push up.
M. Hetemaj 6.5 - Put himself about and did well, even though he may consider himself fortunate to have stayed on the pitch after two reckless tackles.
Sparv 6 - The captain going off midway through the first-half should have been a big blow to the Fins, but their game did not change.
Hakola 6 - An industrious performance, but not one that saw him able to shine given the team's defensive nature for the majority of the game.
Hamalainen 7 - Finland's most effective player going forward after the break and while he may not have scored, he caused the Spain defence problems.
P. Hetemaj 6 - Was asked to track back and help stop Spain from playing too much through the middle and for the most part he was able to do that.
Pukki 5 - Was asked to play up front on his own and in that isolated role he was unable to test Sergio Asenjo and was taken off at half-time.

SPAIN
Sergio Asenjo 5.5 - Had a quiet evening and therefore cannot command a high mark, but he will have been pleased given that his defence played well.
Azpilicueta 6.5 - Did well going forward when he had the opportunity and looked solid at the back against the Finnish attack.
Marcano 6.5 - Will have learned a lot from playing alongside Torrejon and he looked confident and able to play on the floor and in the air.
Torrejon 7 - A tower at the back for the Under-21 side and if his performances continue like this then he will earn a call-up to the next level soon.
Monreal 6.5 - Decent at both ends of the field and certainly one for the future as he looked comfortable at this level.
Mario Suarez 6 - Held the midfield well against a Finland side that did not push up much and test him, but he was steady and reliable.
Raul Garcia 7.5 - Always busy in the midfield as he tracked back and pushed forward when required and was unlucky not to score.
Granero 6.5 - Employed in a more central role than normal, but he was unable to completely pull the strings
Jurado 6.5 - Heavily involved in the 21 minutes that he played, but a hefty challenge ensured that his evening ended prematurely.
Pedro Leon 7.5 - A commanding display that saw him cover a lot of ground as well as display his superb technique at set pieces.
Xisco 4.5 - Did nothing much that was positive and even contrived to lift the ball over the bar when it looked easier to score.
