The Akron Zips went on the road to open their season against North Carolina and Wake Forest -- a formidable test for any team. They left the state of North Carolina with a perfect record and their shutout streak intact. After 3-0 and 2-0 victories respectively, Akron demonstrated the massive gap between them and the rest of the country. It should come as little surprise they remain top of the Goal.com rankings after week one.
