We Can Now Move Forward - USA Midfielder Landon Donovan
United States midfielder Landon Donovan is relieved that the coaching merry-go-round surrounding Bob Bradley has been resolved...

For at least one American player, the end of the uncertainty was perhaps the most important aspect of the whole issue.
USA star Landon Donovan recently spoke on the USSF decision. He was perhaps more satisfied with the fact that a choice was made than with who the final choice was.
"I’m happy for Bob and I know Bob’s very happy," Donovan told Goal.com today about Bradley's contract extension.
Donovan led the USA team in goals at the 2010 World Cup, scoring three, and is still expected to contribute greatly to the squad's success leading up to 2014.
However, though Donovan has played well for Bradley, he also is familiar with the person considered a top contender for the US national team post - Jurgen Klinsmann. Donovan played for Klinsmann while on a short loan spell to Bayern Munich.
Commenting on the federation's decision to retain Bradley, Donovan focused on the importance of players knowing what to expect for the future.
"For us, we weren’t sure which way it was going to go," Donovan explained. "All we wanted was resolution, so we can now know and we can now move forward. Especially when we play a game, like the Brazil game, and you don’t know what’s going on, it makes it very awkward."
The USA team lost a recent friendly to a Brazil squad that showcased many up-and-coming young stars for the South American squad.
Donovan was eager to hear about Bradley's plans for the USA's own progress.
"Finally, we have resolution," Donovan stated. "I’m looking forward to when Bob gets back and we can sit down and talk and move forward, finally."
