Togo Back With German Manufacturer Puma
The sportswear giant and the African nation's FA have decided to resume their partnership for next year's event...

German manufacturer Puma were sponsoring most of the African countries at the last World Cup and continue do so to this day.
But the European company decided to end their partnership with the Togolese federation, after chaos prevailed and many problems occurred in the selection of the team, in order to protect and preserve their own image.
But the brand's Sponsoring Manager, Jean-Marc Menou, finished a three day trip to the country on Friday the 26th and announced that they would be sponsoring the Sparrow Hawks for both the 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola and the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, should they qualify.
The vice-president of the Togolese FA told website republicoftogo.com that he was particularly pleased with the re-signing of the German company, who have proved how loyal they have been to African football.
Aside from Togo, Puma has partnerships with the Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, Angola, Egypt and Ghana. Puma will be sponsoring the Sparrow Hawks for the next two years.
