Iraq Happy To Rein In Spain And Target New Zealand
Iraq are not about to open up against the world's number one team...

Iraq are under no illusions as to the size
of the task facing them in the shape of their 2009 Confederations Cup match with Spain but the Asian champions are ready
to try and get a point at least.
The European champions are unbeaten in 33 games and Iraq coach Bora Milutinovic is hoping not to provide the Europeans with number 34 on Wednesday afternoon in Bloemfontein - by whatever means necessary.
Despite criticism at home over what were perceived as defensive tactics as Iraq drew 0-0 against South Africa on Sunday, the Serbian will be happy with the same result.
“I will be happy if we play much more negative against Spain (than against South Africa) and we get a point," Milutinovic told a press conference at the Free State Stadium.
Milutinovic, who has coached five different teams at the five different World Cups, is focused on the last four and realizes that the final game against New Zealand could be crucial.
“I am happy to be here and play against one of the best teams in the world. We have a point and a chance to go through to the next round. This game is important but the next game against New Zealand is more important.”
The All Whites lost 5-0 to the Spanish on Sunday in Rustenburg but the coach is looking forward to the match.
“We are not afraid and we are lucky to be here and playing against them teams. This is a great generation of Spanish players and for us it is a great challenge. They play spectacular football. They enjoy to play the game, it’s fantastic.”
