Hope of Ronaldinho staying at Milan is in short supply as Flamengo chief Patrcia Anorim claims the Brazilian is desperate to join them, leaving the Italians to arrange a plan B involving Barcelona ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims Flamengo have been in negotiations with Ronaldinho's brother and agent Roberto De Assis, who said the playmaker is prepared to quit Milan.
"I have spoken with Ronaldinho and he wants to join us this year," Anorim said.
Ronaldinho's exit, as well as Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's Premier League link, could allow the Rossoneri to make a move for Ibrahimovic.
It's no secret Milan are keen on the Sweden striker, but Adriano Galliani recently claimed he was too expensive.
But selling 'Dinho and Huntelaar could provide additional funds to their transfer budget, making the 'Ibra' move easier.
However, the striker would have to reduce his €10 million a year wages. Milan would also be allowed to pay Barcelona the transfer fee for Ibrahimovic over four years, rather than in one big lump sum.
