thumbnail Hello,

The tricky winger is full of ambition to win the final after beating Uruguay on Tuesday...

Netherlands beat Uruguay 3-2 to book their ticket for the 2010 World Cup final and Arjen Robben was absolutely delighted with Oranje's hard fought victory against the Celeste. The Bayern Munich star was already looking forward to the final and has made it clear that Oranje also want to win their seventh game of the tournament.

"We had only one goal ahead of the tournament. We had a good look at each other before the match against Uruguay and I was convinced that we'd win," Robben was quoted as saying by NOS.

"This Dutch team is simply a great squad. We need only one more victory now. We're almost there. I recently lost a big final on club level and I won't let this happen again. We're full of confidence at the moment.

"We'll have to wait and see who our opponent will be in the final. Spain and Germany are both great footballing nations. If Germany turn out to be our next opponent, I'll be even more motivated. I can't afford to lose against Germany, because my team-mates at Bayern will make fun of me all season."
