World Cup 2010: Paraguay Supporters Pleased At Chance To Make History

Japan and Paraguay meet shortly in a World Cup second round match, and whichever team progresses will be making history with their first ever quarter-final berth.

The Paraguayan fans are well aware of this, and they are positive. Juan told Goal.com, "We can be making history here today with a win against Japan. It is something that will be fantastic to experience as a fan, and I am hoping to celebrate this tonight."

Waving his flag, Michael said, "Paraguay drew with Italy and I think that has give us confidence. I believe in a 2-0 victory for us, and that will send us to the quarter-final, I can't believe it."

Finally, Renato, who has been living in South Africa for the last four years added, "I am so pleased to see Paraguay doing well. I hope they win and continue their great form in the tournament. I spot in the quarter-final would be the first for my country and it would make all of our fans very proud."
