World Cup 2010: Cristiano Ronaldo Aiming To End Portugal Goal Drought Against North Korea

No competitive international goals for Ronaldo in two years...
Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo is desperate to end his international goal drought in their forthcoming World Cup game against North Korea.

Ronaldo has not scored in a competitive international game in over two years but he is confident he will finally deliver against the Koreans. Whether he scores or not however, Ronaldo is seeking three points before targetting a win agaisnt Brazil.

"The goals will appear. I have the confidence of my coach and my team-mates. I have note scored for two years. I have to score tomorrow," he is quoted as saying by AS.

"Portugal is not the favourite to win the group, but we're hoping to move to the next stage. It will not be easy, but we believe that we will achieve it.

"The important thing is to score against Korea. The number of goals doesn't matter, just as long as we get three points. We have to approach the game against Brazil with the idea of winning. We are not afraid of them."
