World Cup 2010: Aaron Mokoena Admits South Africa Were Second Best

The captain was upset with Bafana Bafana's poor display against Uruguay.
South Africa captain Aaron Mokoena has labelled his side's 3-0 loss to Uruguay as unacceptable but the defender insisted that there was still hope for the hosts to progress to the second round.

"We have to go on and believe," Mokoena stated after the match to "[Tonight's result] was unacceptable.

"Hopefully we will come back against France, as we have one game to show belief in ourselves.

"We did not play well this evening. We didn't show up in the first 15-20 minutes. Uruguay pressed us from all angles, and we lost our belief," he concluded.
