The 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee South Africa (OC) welcomed Serbia, Honduras, Italy, Slovakia and Cameroon who have arrived in South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Yesterday’s arrivals brings the total number of 2010 FIFA World Cup teams in South Africa to 29, including South Africa as the home team.

“I am sure that the teams arriving today got more than they bargained for with the huge crowds on the street and the sound of the vuvuzelas.

"It was a fitting welcome and a good indication to the teams of the colour and excitement that will follow them during South Africa’s World Cup,” said Chief Executive Officer of the OC, Dr Danny Jordaan in a statement.
