World Cup 2010: Problems For Italy As Vincenzo Iaquinta Questions Marcello Lippi's Tactics

Iaquinta has expressed concerns over players being played out of position...
Vincenzo Iaquinta admits he is unhappy about being played out of position by Italy coach Marcello Lippi, but fears he will be ousted from the squad if he leads a rebellion.

The Juventus man was less than perfect against Mexico as he struggled to perform during Thursday's 2-1 loss in Brussels.

He says his performance is explained away by the fact he was playing in the wrong position as he explains what went wrong.

"I play better on the left. When I am on the right I have to play as a winger, but this is not my role. Lippi knows this and he told me, but I have to make sacrifices," he told the press in Sestriere.

"What can I do? I cannot go to him and tell him to play me in a different position otherwise he will send me home.

"Even Marchisio plays out of position. We know these are not our roles, but Lippi is the boss."
