World Cup 2010: South Africa's Matthew Booth - We Train And We Sleep
Booth says there's hard work going on in the Bafana camp.
Matthew Booth says so far Bafana Bafana's camp in Brazil has been challenging, but positive for the players.
"It's very hot in the afternoons, but we have cooler thunder showers in the evening - quite similar to Jo'burg in summer," the big Mamelodi Sundowns centre-back said, according to Kickoff.com.
"We're having two training sessions a day and the players have been working very hard ... it's been impressive.
"The lads are sleeping in between sessions as we don't have the energy to do anything else," Booth laughed.
Booth, who hails from Fish Hoek in Cape Town, is rooming with one of the newer caps, Franklin Cale, who also comes from that suburb.
"I'm rooming with my new Sundowns team-mate Franklin. Some of us are still struggling with the five-hour time difference to back home, but we are starting to settle in nicely as a group," Booth said.
"Yesterday SAFA's Head of Delegation complimented us on our professionalism and told us to 'keep it up', which was positive to hear."
