World Cup 2010: Mbulelo Mabizela Set To Receive South Africa Recall

Platinum Stars defender Mbulelo ‘OJ’ Mabizela looks set to get a recall from Bafana Bafana for a two-week camp in Durban to prepare for the 2010 World Cup.
Mabizela has been on top of his game at Stars and many commentators and football fans have been calling for his recall to the Bafana fold.

According to a report by the SABC, national team coach Carlos Albert Parreira said players who do well will travel with Bafana Bafana to Brazil in February for another camp.

2010 CEO, George Mohlakoana, said they have implemented a contingency plan to address accommodation shortages in Bloemfontein ahead of the World Cup.

Six matches are to be played in Bloemfontein, including the Bafana Bafana - France encounter.

Mohlakoana says areas close to Bloemfontein, including neighbouring Lesotho, will also be used to accommodate soccer fans.

He says they are anticipating more than 30,000 football fans in Bloemfontein.
