2010 World Cup Exclusive: Serbia Star Milan Jovanovic - We Shouldn't Underestimate 'English-Style' Australia

The Socceroos are a danger to Serbia...

Milan Jovanovic, Standard Liege
Serbia international striker Milan Jovanovic has told Goal.com that his team needs to be wary of Australia.

After a fantastic qualification campaign, Serbia were rewarded by being drawn in a tough group with the Socceroos as well as Germany and Ghana.

The Standard Liege sharpshooter believes that the German test will be a tough one but thinks that Australia will be too.

“It could be better but it could also be worse. Our group is hard, not easy,” the 28 year-old told Goal.com.

"We know that Germany are the favourites but Australia will be more difficult than people in Serbia expect," he added.

The former CSKA Moscow star used the example of the last World Cup as evidence to back up his claims.

"They play like England and qualified ahead of Croatia in 2006. They will be hard to play against.”
