Portugal Midfielder Deco Doubtful For Bosnia-Herzegovina Clash
The gifted midfielder could be forced to miss out on Wednesday's game...
Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz could be without the services of influential midfielder Deco when his men take on Bosnia-Herzegovina on Wednesday.
The Chelsea midfielder picked up a leg injury in Portugal's 1-0 home win against the Bosnians last weekend and was forced to leave the pitch after 84 minutes of play due to the knock.
Deco has a muscle strain in his right leg and could therefore be forced to watch Wednesday's game from the stands. Head coach Carlos Queiroz confirmed the injury during a press conference, but refused to comment whether Deco would be match fit in time.
Meanwhile, centre-back Bruno Alves is also nursing a knock he picked up in Saturday's game. The Porto star, who scored the only goal of the match last weekend, is battling to recover from a twisted ankle, but is expected to make it in time.
