Juventus and Brazil midfielder Felipe Melo has recovered fully from the knock he sustained on Thursday and could appear in Saturday's friendly against England.
Both club and country feared the worst earlier this week when a clash with Naldo in training saw the Bianconero limp off to receive treatment. A long-term muscular problem was mooted initially.
However, Tuttosport reports that the combative midfielder shook off the knock and took full part in Friday's final pre-match training session.
Melo showed no signs of trouble and was able to play in the mini-match at the end of the session.
Coach Carlos Dunga is likely to make a decision on whether his man can play shortly before the friendly.
The news will be welcomed in Turin because Melo has struggled several times with injury-related problems already this term.
Meanwhile, Brazil's game with England kicks off at 18:00 CET in Doha.
