Gabon Name 24 Players For World Cup Qualifier Against Togo
Gabon has named their 24 players in order to hope and make it to the next World Cup.
Alain Giresse was extremely clear in the press conference he gave before unveiling the names of the players he would be calling for the last match of the joint qualifiers for Gabon.
"The objective of this match is to go and fight for a win as much as it is to qualify for the World Cup itself," he said.
"My players are in top shape, we don't have any injuries so far. They're going to be playing a very tough game mentally, it will be a decisive match and they are all psychologically prepared for this."
With only one point less than Cameroon, the Panthers of Gabon will do their best to beat Togo and hope that Morocco gets at least a draw against the Cameroonians, which is not far-fetched at all as the Lions of Atlas drew the Indomitable Lions in June, in Yaounde.
