thumbnail Hello,

Rabah Saadane has submitted a list of 24 players which is almost identical to the previous one he used against Rwanda.

Algerian national team coach Rabah Saadane has revealed a list of 24 players that will travel to Egypt this month to face their group rivals in the game they hope will send them directly to next summer’s World Cup.

Besides for the return of Lorient’s Yazid Mansouri who had been suspended for the Fennecs’ previous clash versus the Amavubi of Rwanda as well as the incorporation of MC Alger goalkeeper Mohamed Amine Zemmamouche as a reserve member of the team, there have been no changes made to the squad.

Saadane decided to call up Zemmamouche considering that backup keeper Nassim Ousserir is suffering from an injury that might prevent him from being on the bench on the day of the match.

Meanwhile, Karim Ziani and Madjid Bougherra have both made the squad despite the fact that each of them are still carrying injuries or just on the verge of getting over them.
