Algeria’s Madjid Bougherra: I Will Do Everything I Can To Not Miss Our Final Qualifier
The Rangers player is an injury worry for the “Fennecs” prior to their crucial match against Egypt.
While the Dijon native said his situation was improving, and that he would do everything within his power to be ready to face the Pharaohs, he also explained that the only reason the nature of his injury has not been fully revealed, is because he is still undergoing tests to determine how best to treat the knock.
“If the results [of the tests] are taking some time to become public its only for the sake of recovery. We don’t want to get the diagnosis wrong, which is why the lab charged with analyzing the injury are giving themselves the necessary time to analyze the situation and deliver the most correct prognosis,” he explained.
“I don’t want to miss the match on the 14th of November, so I need to know the real nature of the injury, so that I know what the best treatment is.”
Bougherra simply concluded that once the extent of his injury is known, he would opt for whatever solution allows him to return as quickly as possible.
