Report: The Algerian National Team Could Train In Sousse Prior To Egypt Showdown
The Fennecs may not have to travel too far for their next training camp...
Throughout their qualifying campaign, the Fennecs have been based in Algeria, France and South Africa, depending on the location of the fixtures they were preparing for. But it appears that Rabah Saadane has judged that a Sousse based training camp, like the one Tunisia enjoyed prior to wins over Nigeria and Kenya, could be the best solution this time around.
The Algerians face Egypt on November 14 and must avoid losing at all costs in order to be certain of booking their place at next summer’s World Cup. A 2-0 defeat will send them into a play-off game against the Pharaoh’s, while anything less will cut their dream short on the final day of qualifying.
