Spain Coach Del Bosque Set To Make Changes For Estonia Match
Cesc Fabregas and Marcos Senna could replace Sergi Busquets and Xabi Alonso...
Spain coach Vicente del Bosque is set to make a number of changes to the side that hammered Belgium 5-0 on Saturday when La Furia Roja take on Estonia in Merida on Wednesday, according to AS.
Real Madrid full-back Alvaro Arbeloa is set to be replaced by Madrid team-mate Raul Albiol after picking up a knock against Belgium while Barcelona centre-half Gerard Pique, who complained of discomfort in his lower back on Sunday may be replaced by Villarreal veteran Carlos Marchena.
There are expected to be changes in the middle of the park as well, with Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas and Brazil-born Marcos Senna likely to join Xavi in a three man midfield, replacing Sergi Busquets and Xabi Alonso.
It is understood that the front three of Fernando Torres and Valencia duo David Silva and David Villa will remain unchanged. Silva and Villa both scored twice in the 5-0 win over Belgium.
A win for Spain may see them secure qualification for the World Cup if second place Bosnia fail to beat Turkey at home.
