Diego Forlan will return to Uruguay's starting eleven against Colombia on Wednesday, after completing a one-match ban against Peru.
The Atletico Madrid striker is without doubt Uruguay's most important player, and he has been in fine scoring form during the World Cup qualifiers.
It was confirmed that Forlan will captain Uruguay against Colombia, in the absence of Fenerbahce defender Diego Lugano, who is suspended.
Uruguay boss Oscar Tabarez is expected to make four changes to the side that were beaten by Peru. In will come Carlos Valdes and Martin Caceres, for Diego Perez and Sebastian Eguren, respectively. While two unnamed players will also come in.
La Celeste will be forced to claim maximum points against Colombia, because if they don't their World Cup aspirations will come to an end.
The two-time world champions have struggled a great deal during the qualifiers, even when playing at home at the legendary Centenario stadium.
In order for a big attendance to support the side on Wednesday the AUF have decided to sell fans two tickets for the price of one.
