Humberto Coelho To Reveal Tunisian Squad On August 26
The Portuguese trainer will announce the list of call-ups for Tunisia’s upcoming world cup qualifier versus Nigeria on Wednesday of next week.
According to the Tunisian Football Federation’s website,
national team coach Humberto Coelho will hold a press conference on August 26th
to announce the names of the players he will be counting on during the North
African country’s highly important World Cup qualifier versus Nigeria which
will be played in Abuja on September 6th.
The trainer has often revealed the list of pre-selected players from which he chooses his rosters from but it appears he will forego this formality this time around and release his final roster instead.
It is expected that the team will not be very different from the one he assembled last week for the Carthage Eagles’ preparatory encounter versus Cote d’Ivoire.
Meanwhile, infosfoot.net is reporting that the Tunisian national team will train in Sousse before flying to Nigeria on September 4th on board a chartered flight.
The news contradicts previous reports that the squad would train on the island of Djerba like they did prior to their trip to Kenya for their first qualifier which they won by the score of 2-1.
