thumbnail Hello,

The Brazilian trio can't wait for the Confederations Cup match against the Azzurri on Sunday night.

Any match between Italy and Brazil, the two most successful nations in World Cup history, has a unique prestige. On Sunday night the two teams meet again in the Confederations Cup in a crucial group match, which the Azzurri will probably need to win to progress to the semi-finals, after losing their second match to Egypt.

Some of the Brazilian players who play or have featured in Italy's Serie A talked about this match to O Globo.

"They lost the last match and won't want to lose again," said new Real Madrid star Kaka. "We will play for first place in the group and it won't be easy. For me it will be a particularly special match, because of everything that Italy meant for me."

Meanwhile, Inter full back Maicon, who scored in Brazil's second match against the USA, said, "I am very excited to play against Italy, first of all because I play there in Milan, and second because I know many of the Azzurri players."

Fiorentina midfielder Felipe Melo, who opened the scoring against the USA, will also probably be a part of the match.

"Meeting Italy, in any circumstance, is always important," he said. "I played my first season there and I know how difficult it could be."

Brazil are practically ensured of first place in the group, but they will still want to ensure the Azzurri are eliminated from the tournament to avoid meeting them again later on.
