New Zealand's Bertos Suffers Toe Injury

The only slight injury concern for New Zealand as they prepare for the FIFA Confederations Cup clash with South Africa tonight is Leo Bertos.
New Zealand midfielder Leo Bertos is a slight doubt for tonight's Confederations Cup clash against hosts South Africa.

Bertos was standing on the sidelines as the New Zealanders practiced yesterday.

It was apparently a sore toe that kept him out of action, although the Kiwis' management are confident he will be fine to play against Bafana Bafana in Rustenburg.

Up and coming youngster Chris James filled his spot in the midfield at training.

Jeremy Christie, who was brought in for Jeremy Brockie after 27 minutes of the opening game, appears to have won the right midfield berth.
