The 29-year-old needed less than a minute to score on Sunday and ensure Jose Mourinho's return to his former club got off to the worst possible start
Pedro has scored the fastest goal of the Premier League season so far after netting after just 30 seconds against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The winger took advantage of some poor defending from Chris Smalling and Daley Blind to nip in and pinch the ball before rounding David de Gea and firing home after just 30 seconds.
30 - Pedro has scored the fastest goal in the Premier League this season (30 seconds). Rapid.— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) October 23, 2016
The early goal is only the sixth time the Red Devils have conceded inside the first minute of a match in the Premier League and only the third time Jose Mourinho has seen a side of his concede in the first minute.
Pedro's goal also came from his first shot on target this season although it was not all good news for the Spaniard who was booked for his celebrations following the goal.
