The £13 million man is one of few players who are a certainty to travel, after Sir Alex Ferguson's pre-season plans were disrupted by Euro 2012 and the Olympic Games.
Nemanja Vidic, Darren Fletcher and Chris Smalling will not be considered as they step up their recovery from long-term injuries ahead of the new campaign.
However, fans are set to get their first glimpse of Kagawa since his move from Borussia Dortmund whilst under-18 star Nick Powell is also set to feature after recently joining from Crewe.

"The final squad hasn't been decided yet but we will be taking the strongest team we have available.
"We are all looking forward to the pre-season tour. I am delighted that our new newest signings, Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell, will be in the travelling squad along with more established players, such as Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick and Ji Sung-Park."
Ferguson also underlined the importance of a testing pre-season campaign, adding: "I have always said how important it is to get a good pre-season behind us.
