Atlante Coach Cruz: Barcelona Are Not Invincible
The Blaugrana are brilliant in attack, but do have some weaknesses, according to Cruz...
After seeing his side defeated by Barcelona, Atlante coach Jose Guadalupe Cruz paid tribute to the Blaugrana, while stressing that they did have some weaknesses.
Speaking to Marca after the game, Cruz said, "There are no invincible teams."
"Rubin Kazan managed to win at the Camp Nou thanks to tactical application. But I think that Estudiantes will have to improve upon their performance against Pohang.
"Barca play with a defensive line that is very near the half-way line, and we got behind them a few times."
However, Cruz did admit that Barca's attacking power was likely to see them triumph, continuing, "Even without Messi, they are the best team in the world."
"However, they reach another dimension with him. He scored with his first touch.
"When they have a chance, they do not miss it."
