Montpellier boss Girard: Arsenal will have to work for victory

The 58-year-old made the comments ahead of Friday night’s Ligue 1 clash with Reims at the Stade Auguste Delaune.
The French Champions have begun the campaign in less than convincing style, though, did beat Sochaux 3-1 before the international break and Girard insists Arsene Wenger's men will have to be at their best when the pair spoke at a Champions League managers meeting earlier this week.
Girard said: “It was good to see him; we've known each other for a long time. He was in fine form, so I hope his team isn't doing as well as he is!”
“There's a lot of respect there. We spoke a lot about the upcoming match. He knows that we’re a good side and that his lads will have to be on the money to come out of it with the three points."
It is the first time Montpellier have reached Europe's most prestigious tournament and it will also see the return of Olivier Giroud who left the Ligue 1 side for the Gunners in the summer.
