Premier League Team of the Week: Van Persie one of four Manchester United players to star after Arsenal victory

Rafael, Patrice Evra and Antonio Valencia all make the cut as the Red Devils go top of the league, while Luis Suarez features after another brilliant display for Liverpool

After Saturday's strangely routine and subdued 2-1 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford, no fewer than four Manchester United players feature in our Team of the Week.

Leading the way is Robin van Persie, who makes his third appearance in our side after opening the scoring against his former club, with fellow goalscorer Patrice Evra also making the cut.

Full-back Rafael and flying winger Antonio Valencia, who gave poor old Andre Santos such a torrid time, are included after victory saw the Red Devils leapfrog Chelsea into first place in the Premier League table for the first time this season.

Swansea City pair Ashley Williams and Pablo Hernandez line up in the XI following the Swans' home draw with Roberto Di Matteo's side. The Spaniard's late strike secured a deserved point for Michael Laudrup's side.

Liverpool continued to stutter at Anfield and were forced to rely on the in-form Luis Suarez to salvage a 1-1 draw against Newcastle, meaning that the Uruguayan has again earned a place.

Completing our forward line is West Brom's Peter Odemwingie - the Nigerian's double helping Steve Clarke's team to a 2-0 win over Southampton.

Marouane Fellaini makes his fourth appearance in our TOTW this term after another influential performance for Everton - the Belgian scoring twice in his side's 2-2 draw with Fulham.

Wes Hoolahan fills the final midfield slot after Norwich City's win against Stoke City, while two fantastic saves from Reading goalkeeper Alex McCarthy, which earned an away draw at QPR, sees the 22-year-old complete our XI.

Shaun Maloney, who helped Wigan to a shock 1-0 win over Tottenham, and Wayne Rooney are both unfortunate to miss out.
