| Leverkusen all but clinched a Europa League berth on Saturday after a 1-0 win away to Hoffenheim. Towards the end of a hard-fought match, the hosts had a chance to equalise from 11 metres, but the brilliant Leno made a stunning save from Sejad Salihovic's penalty. |

Kaiserslautern's relegation was confirmed on Saturday, but they went out in a blaze of glory as they took three points away to Hertha Berlin. Dick was arguably the best player on the park and gave everything he had: his industry was outstanding, and he played well at both ends of the pitch. Hannover were only held to a draw by Freiburg, but the Lower Saxons earned their point thanks to a clean sheet. Haggui was a rock in defence, and thwarted all the danger that came his way. Hummels makes his 11th appearance in the team after shutting out yet another of the Bundesliga's top scorers in Marco Reus. This season, Mario Gomez, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Martin Harnik, Claudio Pizarro, and Raul have failed to find the net on Hummels' watch, a testament to the player's defensive quality. He has often played in the shadow of his opposite, Lukasz Piszczek, but Schmelzer was excellent as Dortmund wrapped up the title at the weekend. The Germany international whipped in the cross that assisted Ivan Perisic's opener, and made several excellent stops on the defensive end. |

Sebastian KEHL Dortmund TOTW Apps: 1 |

| Koln have needed someone to step up in recent weeks, and Lanig delivered on Saturday. The 27-year-old was outstanding in the challenge, helping the hosts preserve a draw with red-hot Stuttgart. Gladbach were rarely able to gain any momentum in the midfield thanks to good work from Kehl and his central midfield partner Ilkay Gundogan. The former captained his team by example, and barely ever misplaced a pass. |

Shinji KAGAWA Dortmund TOTW Apps: 7 |
Franck RIBERY Bayern TOTW Apps: 8 |

| Kagawa was once again the mastermind behind most BVB attacks in what was a terrific display against Gladbach. His goal put the result to rest, ensuring early title celebrations in Dortmund. Bayern were a goal behind against Bremen with 25 minutes left to play when Ribery took to the pitch on Saturday, and in his limited time, the Frenchman turned the game around. He forced an own goal with a dangerous cross, then netted a fine winner at the death. |

Andre WOOTEN Kaiserslautern TOTW Apps: 1 |
Andre SCHURRLE Leverkusen TOTW Apps: 2 |

| Aside from Dick, Kaiserslautern's hero was Wooten, who time and time again tested Thomas Kraft's goal. The German-American striker scored a critical second goal that ensured three points for 1.FCK. With three goals in four games since Robin Dutt was sacked, Schurrle has stormed back into form as of late. The Germany international scored a peach of a winner on Saturday as Leverkusen earned a crucial win. |
