Mathieu DEBUCHY
Lille

Rod Fanni starred in Marseille's 1-1 draw with Valenciennes. The ex-Rennes defender was a force on the flanks, and grabbed an assist when he set up Alou Diarra with a fine cross. Fanni, given a chance ahead of Cesar Azpilicueta performed admirably as l'OM were ultimately frustrated.

Samuel Souprayen enjoyed a good 90 minutes as Dijon thrashed Nice. The defender undertook his duties well, and was a solid rock in defence as Patrice Carteron's men earned a thumping win.

Mathieu Debuchy makes a fifth appearance in the Team of the Week after rescuing champions Lille in their 1-0 win over Lorient. Staring at a draw which would've killed off their title challenge, the right-back scored the winner late on, whilst also being the attacking force for les Dogues.

Benoit Tremoulinas impressed in Bordeaux's shock 1-0 win over Lyon on Sunday. The Girondins midfielder was a constant threat in all areas of the field as Lyon struggled to gain control.

Joining him in the middle of the park is team-mate Ludovic Obraniak who makes his second consecutive appearance. The Polish midfielder, who impressed last week, continued his fine form against les Gones. Obraniak pulled the strings in midfield as his side profited with a fifth straight victory.

Henri BEDIMO
Montpellier

Younes BELHANDA

Sidney GOVOU
Evian

Henri Bedimo makes an unprecedented eighth appearance in the best XI after the left-sided player bossed his flank in Montpellier's 2-2 draw against PSG. Bedimo terrorised Milan Bisevac with his pace and crossing ability, and also performed his defensive tasks without fuss.

Team-mate Younes Belhanda was undoubtedly the Man of the Match in the top of the table clash at the Parc des Princes. Belhanda scored the equaliser, and was a threatening force in midfield as the PSG players failed to keep in touch with the Moroccan international.

Ligue 1 veteran Sidney Govou makes his first appearance. The former France international denied Caen a much-needed victory as he stole a point, and the plaudits, late on to secure a 2-2 draw for Evian.

Brice JOVIAL

TOTW Apps: 2

Despite being on loan from Chelsea, Gael Kakuta makes his debut in the Team of the Week with a fine performance in Dijon's 3-0 thrashing of Nice. The 20-year-old scored one, and made the other as the visitors imploded.

Rounding off week 24 is Kakuta's strike partner Brice Jovial, who starred in that win alongside the youngster. Jovial scored the second, and assisted Kakuta as the pair struck up an impressive striking partnership.
