thumbnail Hello,

The former Blaugrana striker watched his old side in action in the Champions League on Tuesday while taking to Twitter as part of Heineken's 'Share The Sofa' evening

Barcelona showed they remain a force to be reckoned with on Tuesday night after beating Manchester City 2-0 at the Etihad in the first leg of their last-16 Champions League clash.

Patrick Kluivert watched his former club in action as goals from Lionel Messi and Dani Alves sealed victory and tweeted his thoughts on the game for Heineken throughout the encounter, as part of their '#ShareTheSofa' night.

Goal compiled a list of our favourite tweets from the former Netherlands international during and after the game, including his thoughts on the current Barcelona side, his ultimate five-a-side team and the most interesting footballer he's ever met...

KLUIVERT ON BARCELONA

"Bit disappointed that it's only 0-1, and that goal was a penalty. Had expected at least 4 goals tonight."

"#FCB are not as good as they were at their height, but they're still the best."

"There we have it! Lot of possession didn't do much in the 1st half. Then the red card unleashed FCB."

KLUIVERT ON MANCHESTER CITY

"Demichelis - just not fast enough, and just lost track of Messi. Clear penalty."

"Toure and Kompany have to stay so tight - Barcelona are trying to pull them all over the place."
