Goal pays tribute to the most outstanding performers from the last weekend of action in Italy's top flight, including the country's newest teenage striking sensation
The undoubted star of Round 19 of Serie A was Domenico Berardi. The 19-year-old Sassuolo striker, who is on loan from Juventus, became the youngest player since the legendary Silvio Piola to score four times in Italy's top flight by netting all of his side's goals in their sensational victory over AC Milan. Berardi is joined in our three-man front line by Parma's enigmatic forward Amauri and Sampdoria attacker Eder, both of whom hit doubles at the weekend.
In midfield, there's obviously a place for Alessandro Florenzi, whose spectacular overhead kick in Roma's rout of Genoa was undoubtedly the goal of the weekend, and he's partnered in the engine room by Torino's ever-improving Swede, Alexander Farnerud. Stephan Lichsteiner gets the nod on the right, after another scintillating attacking display, this time against Cagliari, while Giacomo Bonaventura, who played a key role in Atalanta's crucial win over Catania, starts on the opposite flank.
Mehdi Benatia takes up his now usual position in defence, after another goalscoring performance for the Giallorossi, and the Moroccan lines up alongside Raul Albiol, a rock at the back for Napoli in their win at Verona, and Shkodran Mustafi, who impressed in Sampdoria's demolition of Udinese. In goal, meanwhile, we've gone with Antonio Mirante, who kept a clean sheet in Parma's fine 3-0 victory at Livorno.
Honourable mentions go to Torino defender Kamil Glik, Juventus duo Arturo Vidal and Fernando Llorente, and Napoli attacker Dries Mertens.
